Cub Training Program

BOOK ONLINE

The importance of starting young

Boys and Girls in the U4-U7 age group (3 to 6-years-old)

It is important to understand why technical training is so important with the younger age groups. It is claimed that 90% of technical ability is acquired before the adolescent period. In the younger age groups (U4-U8) it is FUN and TECHNIQUE that are the two high priorities. The other aspects of the game can come later. There are many techniques to master in soccer; striking the ball, receiving the ball with either foot, passing the ball with different parts of the foot, turning out of pressure, dribbling the ball at speed, controlling the ball from the air to name just a few.

To some degree we can list the attributes of a successful soccer player; technical, tactical, athletic and temperamental. The trick is to identify a child's potential and help him or her reach that potential!   At Wolf Pack we are dedicated to creating a foundation through basic technical skills and practice.  The skills your child will learn and gain through training and repetition will be carried on with them throughout their years as a soccer player.

What To Bring: Soccer cleats, running shoes, shin-guards, soccer ball and water.

Youth Training Program

BOOK ONLINE

ORGANIZATION OF PROGRAM: Boys and Girls in the U7-U10 age group (7 to 10-years-old)

The Wolf Pack Soccer Academy provides an opportunity for young players to gain technical skill from a professional coach in a less intense environment than competitive soccer and without travel.  The program is focused solely on individual player development.  The early years of a child's soccer career are crucial for developing a love for the game and technical skills.  The program will develop individual player skills and creativity with the ball in a fun environment at training sessions.  The Spring Youth Training Program will allow the young player to gain the skills needed to progress to select teams as they grow and develop.

Interested players should have some prior recreational soccer experience, but it is not required.  Some ability in the areas of dribbling, controlling and striking the ball, and a basic understanding of the game will enhance the experience for all involved.  This program will develop these areas consistently during training sessions and games.

What To Bring: Soccer cleats, running shoes, shin-guards, soccer ball and water.

Small Groups

BOOK ONLINE

When your child attends group soccer training, their mental skills will increase along with their physical ones. Soccer requires concentration and focus throughout the game, and can also help improve cognitive connections.

Small group training is great for individual attention but also allows for the addition of pressure (defenders) and the use of other players to help in the learning process.
